New Online Helpdesk System
ESP are pleased to announce the launch of their new web-based Online Helpdesk System designed to make logging and tracking of support queries easier and more efficient for their ever increasing customer base. European Golf Machinery Interface goes live!
Greetham Valley and Gainsborough Golf Club are the first users of the new range ball dispenser interface, developed by ESP for use with European Golf Machinery equipment. Sean Clarke, Director of Impetus Golf & Leisutre Ltd said “The installation of the new interface was really easy and went without a hitch. The system is excellent and has given us far better control over the range than tokens ever could. We are also actively using the software to introduce new marketing initiatives to maximise usage.”

Mytime Golf selects ESP
Mytime Golf operate ten sites in the South of England and have selected ESP as their preferred supplier of a hosted integrated golf management solution. Modules include Membership / CRM, Retail, Food & Beverage, Tee-sheet and Internet bookings. ESP’s Online Bookings exceed £2m per month
Since its launch in 2005 ESP’s Online Booking Solution has continued to go from strength to strength. This robust, reliable and easy-to-use solution is capable of booking hundreds of different types of activity including golf tee times, indoor and outdoor leisure activities such as badminton or sailing, and spa treatments or sessions. The web server technology at the heart of the system is capable of serving over 500 users simultaneously and booking revenues are now exceeding £2 million STG each calendar month. Club members are also enjoying the benefits as they are able to book their regular activity 24/7 without the need to telephone or visit reception.

Another Round of VAT Changes
Following the UK Governments recent legislation to increase the Standard VAT Rates from 17.5% to 20% on the 4th January 2011, ESP are pleased to announce that all customer systems were successfully remotely pre-programmed in advance to automatically apply the revised rate with no user involvement or disruption.

Range Ball Dispenser Interface
ESP and European Golf Machinery, the largest UK based independent manufacturer of golf range machinery have jointly developed an innovative Range Ball Dispenser interface which will help clubs increase revenues, eliminate token fraud and enhance the customer experience. The two systems seamlessly communicate allowing Time & Date controlled ball dispensing with unlimited range card options. A suite of reports and graphs provide plentiful usage statistics highlighting busy periods and high usage. This new product sits alongside the proven and successful Range Servant ball dispenser interface already in use at many Golf Clubs.

New Multi Site Implementation at Maple Leaf
Maple Leaf Golf has installed ESP’s Central Server Solution to assist with the running of their 3 sites; Maple Leaf Golf operates three golf clubs in the South East of England, recently acquiring Horton Park Golf Course which used the Elite Management System under the previous ownership. Chichester Golf Club (two 18 hole courses, a driving range and a Par 3 course), Hill Barn Golf Club in Worthing (an 18 hole golf course and clubhouse facility) and Horton Park Golf Club in Epsom (which has an 18-hole parkland course as well as a 9-hole short course and a large driving). Maple Leaf Golf conducted an in depth evaluation of systems capable of operating multiple sites from a central server; ESP was the chosen provider having demonstrated their credentials during a trial period.

Northumbrian Water’s Winter Wonderland
Since its creation in 2005, Northumbrian Water’s Winter Wonderland event has become a pre-Christmas tradition for thousands of families across the Northumbrian region. The event sees Leaplish Waterside Park, on the shores of Kielder Water, transformed into a Winter Wonderland full of surprises and attractions for the whole family. Most of the tickets are sold in advance and around 15,000 people book to share in the festive magic. Children flock to visit Santa in his grotto and they love to help his elves make the toys. But the fun does not end there as they take part in ice skating, are treated to a short pantomime and get to ride on a carousel, among many other activities. Now in its fourth year of operation, ESP’s Online Booking Ticketing Portal proved its robust reliability coping with in excess of 2,000 connections per hour as tickets went on sale at 10 o’clock on 1st October.

Fox Hills Invests in Elite at Farleigh Court
Farleigh Court has been bought by the owners of Fox Hills, the luxury family leisure resort in Surrey. Renaming the complex to Farleigh Fox, Managing Director, Marc Hayton, was keen to start making the most out of the Elite Management System and put into operation ESP’s Online Web Booking Portal for the clubs members when the clubs new website was launched.
